The Will Rogers Writers' Workshop, scheduled for March 15-18, 2007 in Oklahoma City, is now open for registration.

Online registration makes the process easy -- no forms to fill out and mail in. All you have to do is go to www.regonline.com/107968 and follow the directions. It will only take a few minutes to enter the information and you can also pay the registration fee through a safe, secure credit card system.

The fee for the workshop is $250, if you pay by December 31, 2006. This is an earlybird fee. The cost will increase to $275 on January 1, 2007. So register early! You might win a prize.

The schedule includes a Thursday evening reception and brief program followed by two full days of instruction through general sessions and concurrent workshop sessions. The fee covers the training and all meal functions, plus transportation to events outside the hotel.

You may see a variation in dates in the registration procedure. The workshop will run from Thursday, March 15, starting at 3 p.m. when attendees may pick up registration packets, through Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 until approximately 9 p.m. We have used the time period March 15-18, because hotel checkout will be on Sunday, March 18. No workshop activities are scheduled for March 18.

Attendees are welcome to bring a spouse or other guest. There is plenty to see and do in Oklahoma City, and the Renaissance Hotel is near Bricktown, the city's newest dining, entertainment and shopping district. Only those who are registered for the workshop may attend the sessions and lunches, but a special guest program is planned. It will include a city tour and lunch and other activities, as well as dinner with the workshop registrants at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum on Friday evening, March 16. The cost for the guest program is $150. You may register for yourself and a guest at the same time by using the “group” function, or you may register separately.

Remember, the workshop is limited to 300 attendees, and it could fill up quickly. Don't miss out on the opportunity to join other writers in learning new skills, getting new ideas and finding new markets.
